Jie’s alluded to the utter chaos of it all already, but I think it’s worth pointing out again. The rule-breakers on the Rue Mouffetard seem completely uninterested in the standard market stalls provided by the city of Paris. Ignoring the evenly-spaced stall anchors embedded in the ground, vendors set up their umbrellas wherever they please. Barbarians!
